            Baseball Recap: Enloe Eagles vs. Leesville Road Pride        
        
		
        
        
            Enloe extended their losing streak  to five  on Wednesday, dropping their season record down to 5-14 in the process. They came up short against  the Leesville Road Pride, falling  8-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pride this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  12-0  on Monday.
As for Leesville Road, the  victory was  the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-5. Those  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games.
For Leesville Road's part, they got a great performance from  Avery Morton as he  didn't allow a single  earned run over six innings pitched.
 On the hitting side,  Carter Hepp was  excellent,  going a perfect 2-for-2 with two  runs and two  RBI. That's the most  hits  he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was  Ben Fields, who  went 1-for-2 with two  runs and one  double.
 Coming up, Enloe is taking a road trip to  face off against Athens Drive  at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Leesville Road will be paying especially close attention to the Eagles'  game: after the Eagles face off against the Jaguars, they'll take on Leesville Road again  at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
