Softball Preview: Mineral Ridge Rams vs. Western Reserve Blue Devils

The Mineral Ridge Rams will be playing in front of their home fans against the Western Reserve Blue Devils at 5:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Last Thursday, Mineral Ridge got the win against Springfield by a conclusive 15-4.

Lily Merolillo made a splash no matter where she played. She struck out six batters over five innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits. Merolillo was also big at the plate, scoring three runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
