Mifflinburg's game last Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Shikellamy Braves with a sharp 11-2 win. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Wildcats considering their one-run performance the contest before.

Aaron Bolick was a major factor no matter where he played. He struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). Bolick was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one home run and two runs.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Hunter Resseguie, who scored a run while going 2-for-2. Chad Martin was another key player, scoring three runs while going 2-for-4.

Mifflinburg kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Shikellamy only managed five hits.

The victory got Mifflinburg back to even at 1-1. As for Shikellamy, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mifflinburg will face off against Milton at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Shikellamy, they will take on North Schuylkill at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
