Soccer Recap: Concord Academy Takes a Loss

Concord Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They lost 5-0 to the Hickory Grove Christian Lions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Hickory Grove Christian this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on April 8th.

Concord Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Hickory Grove Christian, their win bumped their record up to 6-7-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Concord Academy is set to square off against their familiar foe Westminster Catawba Christian at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Hickory Grove Christian will face off against rival SouthLake Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
