Volleyball Recap: Moorpark Falls to Thousand Oaks in First Game of Season

Moorpark unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost 3-0 to the Thousand Oaks Lancers on Thursday. The Musketeers have struggled against the Lancers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

While Moorpark was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-22, 25-16.

Thousand Oaks has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Moorpark will welcome Westlake at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Thousand Oaks, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Royal at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
