Randleman hadn't done well against Uwharrie Charter Academy recently (they were 0-8 in their previous eight matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way  on Friday. Randleman walked away with  an   8-3  victory over Uwharrie Charter Academy. For the Tigers, this counts as revenge for the   15-5 win the Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another  back in April of 2024.
 Kinzie Ivey spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered  just two earned  (and one unearned) runs on five hits.
 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Lilah Covington, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-3.  Addyson Dees was another key player,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances.
Randleman's victory bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Uwharrie Charter Academy, they moved to 5-3 with that  defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
 Randleman and Uwharrie Charter Academy should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage  in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings. Randleman (ranked 79th) will meet Trinity (ranked 300th)  at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Meanwhile,  Uwharrie Charter Academy will  square off against  Wheatmore  at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday up  211 places (43 vs. 254).
