Volleyball Recap: Academy at the Lakes Comes Up Short

Academy at the Lakes was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to Tampa Bay HEAT.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-15, 25-11.

Academy at the Lakes' defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Tampa Bay HEAT, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season.

Academy at the Lakes has already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against North Tampa Christian Academy on the 27th. As for Tampa Bay HEAT, they will be playing at home against Winter Park at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
