Basketball Game Preview: Northwest Christian School Crusaders vs. St. George's Dragons

Northwest Christian School and St. George are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2018, but not for long. The Northwest Christian School Crusaders will look to defend their home court on Thursday against the St. George's Dragons at 7:30 p.m. Northwest Christian School knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully St. George's likes a good challenge.

Last Tuesday, Northwest Christian School strolled past Kettle Falls with points to spare, taking the game 58-39.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for St. George's, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They breezed by Newport to the tune of 57-18 on Tuesday. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 31-5.

Northwest Christian School is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.8 points per game. As for St. George's, they moved to 8-11 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Everything came up roses for Northwest Christian School against St. George's in their previous matchup back in January, as the squad secured a 72-31 win.
