Football Recap: Tampa Catholic Snags Ninth Win in Last 12 Games

Tampa Catholic extended their postseason success on Wednesday against Classical Prep. They blew past the Lions 23-0. The Crusaders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by 21 points or more this season.

A big part of Tampa Catholic's victory came down to the chemistry between Ava Kopp and her top target Audrey Kopp. Ava threw for 141 yards and three touchdowns while Audrey picked up 102 receiving yards and three scores. That's the most receiving touchdowns Audrey has posted since back in April of 2024.

Tampa Catholic has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. As for Classical Prep, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-6.

Looking ahead, Tampa Catholic will face off against Keswick Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Keswick Christian will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Tampa Catholic surely won't give up without a fight. Classical Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
