Basketball Game Preview: Guy-Perkins Thunderbirds vs. Wonderview Daredevils

Guy-Perkins is 1-9 against Wonderview since November of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Thunderbirds will venture away from home to take on the Daredevils at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Guy-Perkins barely beat Western Yell County the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Thunderbirds claimed a resounding 66-15 win over the Wolverines. The Thunderbirds' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

The home team had won the previous four meetings between Wonderview and Bradford, and Wonderview kept the tradition alive. The Daredevils snuck past the Eagles with a 46-40 victory on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Daredevils in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won three in a row.

Wonderview's record is now 6-2. As for Guy-Perkins, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Guy-Perkins was dealt a bruising 63-27 defeat at the hands of Wonderview when the teams last played back in January. Can the Thunderbirds avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
