Baseball Recap: Elkhart Christian Academy Takes a Loss

After flying high against Hamilton on Friday, Elkhart Christian Academy came back down to earth. The Eagles fell just short of the South Bend Washington Panthers by a score of 6-5 on Monday. The Eagles have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Cole Hummer was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI. He has become a key player for Elkhart Christian Academy: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least three hits, but 3-15 otherwise.
