Volleyball Recap: Forest Lake Falls Short Against Ranked Anoka

Forest Lake faced Anoka in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Rangers came up short against the Tornadoes, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tornadoes this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 last Saturday.

While Forest Lake was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Anoka's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-7, 25-17, 25-18.

Forest Lake's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-4. As for Anoka, they pushed their record up to 17-6 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Forest Lake does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Anoka, they will square off against Andover at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
