Baseball Recap: Norrix Triumphs

Norrix got themselves on the board against Portage Northern on Saturday, but Portage Northern never followed suit. They had just enough and edged out the Huskies 1-0. This was a revenge game for the Knights: when they faced off against the Huskies last Friday, they had to take a 7-5 loss.

Norrix got a great performance from Sam Oberlee as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out seven over 6.2 innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts Oberlee has posted since May 5th.

At the plate, Norrix saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Grayson Borick, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one run.

Norrix's victory bumped their record up to 21-11. As for Portage Northern, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-20-1.

As of now, neither Norrix nor the Huskies have any future games scheduled.
