Volleyball Recap: Larned Comes Up Short

Larned was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Ellinwood Eagles. The Indians were not able to make up for their defeat to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-3.

Jadyn Crosby paced Larned's offense, picking up four kills. Crosby got some help from Brooke Simmons and her five assists.

Larned's loss dropped their record down to 7-18. As for Ellinwood, the win keeps them at an undefeated 25-0.

Larned has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Hoisington on the 2nd. As for Ellinwood, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Hill City on the 2nd.
