School of the Arts scored the most runs they've had all season to find success on Monday. They put the hurt on the Northeast/Northwest College Prep Panthers with a sharp 25-1 win. Winning may never get old, but School of the Arts sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Giovanni Petrone was incredible, scoring four runs while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Bennie Laver, who went 2-for-2 with two runs, a triple, and an RBI.
School of the Arts now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Northeast/Northwest College Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
