Basketball Recap: Kearney Has No Trouble Against Grand Island

You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out for Kearney on Thursday. They strolled past the Grand Island Islanders with points to spare, taking the game 55-39. The Bearcats haven't had any issues with the Islanders recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

When it comes to explaining why Grand Island lost, don't look at Babur Choul. Despite the final result, he posted 22 points. Those 22 points gave Choul a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Carter Bernal, who had six points.

Kearney's win bumped their record up to 12-4. As for Grand Island, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-11.
