Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lakeridge). They walked away with a 12-9 victory over the Tualatin Timberwolves on Monday. The win was some much needed relief for the Pacers as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
MILLIE MACKENZIE was incredible, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those two runs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was REGAN LEE, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.
Lakeridge was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .417. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
Lakeridge's victory bumped their record up to 3-12. As for Tualatin, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lakeridge will head out to face off against Lake Oswego at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Pacers are facing the Lakers at the right time seeing as the Lakers are stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Tualatin, they will head out on the road to square off against West Linn at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Lions will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Timberwolves surely won't give up without a fight.
