It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day R-S Central got the one that really mattered. After all that action, the final score was 25-15, 28-30, 25-20, 15-25, 15-10.
R-S Central kept the net locked down and finished the game with 16 blocks. That's the most blocks they've posted since back in August.
Meanwhile, Chase was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell just short of Patton by a score of 3-2.
Chase took Patton into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking four-point loss. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-22, 22-25, 22-25, 15-11.
R-S Central's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-7. As for Chase, they now have a losing record at 6-7.
