Football Recap: Forsyth Comes Up Short

If Forsyth was feeling good fresh off their 68-22 takedown of Poplar last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Dogies took a blow against the Scobey/Opheim Spartans on Thursday, falling 68-16. The Dogies haven't had much luck with the Spartans recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Forsyth's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Scobey/Opheim, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Looking ahead, Forsyth will host MonDak [Westby/Grenora] at 7:00 p.m. on the 10th. The Dogies will be up against the Mon-Dak Thunder's rather soft defense (which has allowed 56 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Scobey/Opheim, they will head out on the road to square off against Culbertson at 7:00 p.m. on the 11th.
