Football Recap: Piedmont Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Friday just wasn't the day for Piedmont's offense. They were dealt a 49-0 loss at the hands of the Weddington Warriors on Friday. The Panthers have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Piedmont's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Weddington, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-1.

Looking ahead, Piedmont will welcome Charlotte Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Weddington does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
