Soccer Game Preview: Frederica Academy vs. Strong Rock Christian

Frederica Academy will challenge the Strong Rock Christian Patriots at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Frederica Academy took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They never let Brunswick get on the board and left with a 7-0 win. Considering Frederica Academy has won three matches by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Brunswick from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Sofia Gegg led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, Strong Rock Christian made easy work of Salem on Tuesday and carried off a 10-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Patriots.

Frederica Academy's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 19 goals over those three games. As for Strong Rock Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.
