Baseball Recap: Sullivan Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Sullivan fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Arcola on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Purple Riders by a score of 3-2. Having soared to a lofty 17 runs in the game before, the Redskins couldn't push the score so high this time.

Sullivan saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cameron Crowe, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Sullivan's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-13. As for Arcola, their win was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-0.
