Baseball Recap: Thursday's Defeat Ends Acadiana Christian's Winning Streak

If Acadiana Christian was riding high fresh off their 14-4 takedown of Psalms Christian Academy last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Lions lost 11-2 to the NELA Christian Homeschool Flame on Thursday. The Lions were red-hot at the plate heading into the matchup (they scored no less than ten runs in the seven games prior), but the Flame's pitchers proved too tough.

Acadiana Christian saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Wes Landry, who scored two runs and stole four bases while going 1-for-2. Another was Mason Broome, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.
