Volleyball Recap: Zimmerman Takes a Loss

Zimmerman saw some tournament action on Friday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cretin-Derham Hall Raiders.

Leading Cretin-Derham Hall to victory were Megan Buri and Cecilia Klein. Buri had 13 assists and seven digs, while Klein had eight digs and one assist. Buri is crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 13 every time she's taken the court this season.

Zimmerman's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Cretin-Derham Hall, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Zimmerman didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Stewartville on the 12th. As for Cretin-Derham Hall, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Mound-Westonka on the 12th.
