Lemon Bay came tearing into Thursday's contest with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the North Port Bobcats by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in August.
The final score came out to 25-7, 25-19, 24-26, 25-10.
Roxy Getter paced Lemon Bay's offense, picking up 14 kills. Getter got some help from Evelyn Swidrak and her 35 assists. Swidrak also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Maisyn Pierce, racking up three apiece.
Despite the loss, North Port still got an impressive performance from Natalie Shelton, who had 18 digs.
Lemon Bay's win bumped their record up to 10-4. As for North Port, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-11.
