Soccer Recap: Copley Takes a Loss

Copley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 7-1 to the Aurora Greenmen. While losing is never fun, Copley can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 365th, while Aurora are ranked 18th).

Copley's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Aurora, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-1-2 record this season.

Copley has already played their next match, a 5-0 loss against Howland on the 13th. As for Aurora, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Stow-Munroe Falls on the 13th.
