It was a good run, but Union County unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Paducah Tilghman Blue Tornado by a score of 10-9. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Braves of the 6-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2019.

Union County's defeat dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Paducah Tilghman, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 18-5.

Looking ahead, Union County will head out on the road to face off against Christian County at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Paducah Tilghman, they will square off against Caldwell County at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
