Volleyball Game Preview: Sherrard Tigers vs. Rockridge Rockets + How To Watch

Sherrard has won eight straight games at home (dating back to last season), while Rockridge has won eight straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The Tigers will host the Rockets at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Sherrard's tournament run continued when they took on Trinity on Saturday. The Tigers came out on top against the Blazers by a score of 2-0.

Meanwhile, Rockridge posted their closest win since August 25th on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over Monmouth-Roseville.

Rockridge had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-9, 25-17.

Rockridge's win bumped their record up to 5-9. As for Sherrard, their victory bumped their record up to 19-2-1.

Sherrard was able to grind out a solid win over Rockridge in their previous meeting on September 2nd, winning 2-0. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Rockets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
