Grandview and Selah are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2021, but likely not for long. The Greyhounds will welcome the Vikings at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Grandview will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

In Tuesday's Canine Competition, Grandview prevailed. They came out on top against Othello by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Selah unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of Ephrata by a score of 2-1. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Selah came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 27th, while Ephrata are ranked 199th).

Grandview's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-2-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three contests. As for Selah, their loss dropped their record down to 8-2-1.

Grandview beat Selah by a goal in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, winning 1-0. Will the Greyhounds repeat their success, or do the Vikings have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
