Softball Recap: Oconto Falls Comes Up Short

Oconto Falls was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 13-3 to the Freedom Irish. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Irish this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-1 last Tuesday.

Amelia Danielczak was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing three bases while going 3-for-3.

Oconto Falls' defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Freedom, their win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Oconto Falls will challenge rival Denmark at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Freedom is set to take on their familiar foe Waupaca at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
