Basketball Recap: Narragansett Takes a Loss

Narragansett was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 72-63 to the East Providence Townies. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Mariners of the 70-69 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Narragansett's defeat dropped their record down to 7-14. As for East Providence, their victory bumped their record up to 10-12.

As of now, neither Narragansett nor East Providence have any future games scheduled.
