Soccer Game Preview: Canon City vs. Lamar + How To Watch

The Canon City Tigers will challenge the Lamar Thunder at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.

On Tuesday, Canon City didn't have quite enough to beat Pueblo County and fell 3-2. That's two games in a row now that Canon City have lost by just one goal.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last contest, Lamar made sure to put some goals up on the board against Pueblo Central on Monday. They skirted past the Wildcats 4-3. The score was all tied up 2-2 at the break, but Lamar were the better team in the second half.

This is the second loss in a row for Canon City and nudges their season record down to 2-6. As for Lamar, their victory bumped their record up to 5-3.

Canon City beat Lamar 3-1 when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Do the Tigers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Thunder turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
