Basketball Recap: King & Queen Central's Losing Streak Snapped at Seven Games

King & Queen Central needed a changed in momentum after dropping seven straight games and they got it from Gerard Hill. The King & Queen Central Royal Tigers snuck past the Essex Trojans with a 52-48 victory on Monday thanks in part to Hill, who posted 24 points. That makes it six consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of King & Queen Central's points.

King & Queen Central's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-9. As for Essex, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-4 record.

King & Queen Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 70-25 victory against Carver College and Career Academy on the 4th. Essex has also already played their next contest, a 60-46 defeat against Lancaster on the 4th.
