Sanger came tearing into Thursday's contest with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Sanger West Hornets by a score of 11-7.

Sanger's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-6. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Sanger West, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-11.
