It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but the Aberdeen Bobcats ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They secured a 55-49 W over Hoquiam. That looming 55-49 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Aberdeen yet this season.
Aberdeen found their leader in underclassman Jhacob Quezada, who scored 17 points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Baylor Ainsworth, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds.
Aberdeen's win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Hoquiam, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-3.
Aberdeen will head out on the road to face off against Tumwater at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Hoquiam, they will be playing at home against Onalaska at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
