Volleyball Recap: Midtown Find Success

Midtown won the last time they faced Mays and things went their way on Thursday too. The Knights came out on top against the Raiders by a score of 2-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Midtown took both sets by at least 18 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-6.

Lily Carter was the offensive standout of the contest as she had seven assists and three aces. That's the most assists she has posted over her last four matchups.

Midtown's victory bumped their record up to 26-9. As for Mays, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-8.

Looking ahead, Midtown will take on Sonoraville at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Mays, they will face off against Discovery at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
