The Milford Eagles will venture away from home to square off against the West Clermont Wolves at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are still undefeated after three games, but that won't be the case come Tuesday.
On Thursday, Milford was fully in charge, breezing past Turpin 64-19. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Eagles just coasted through the last quarter.

Milford's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Gabby Chadwell, who posted 13 points along with eight steals and five assists. Chadwell has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 25 times she's played. Another player making a difference was Kylie Perone, who shot 90% from the field en route to 18 points in addition to five boards and three blocks.
They weren't the only ones working in the assist department: Milford was working as a unit and finished the game with 21 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since the start of last season.
Meanwhile, you're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter and that's exactly how it played out for West Clermont on Thursday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that they blew Loveland out of the water with a 58-23 final score. Fans of the Wolves have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.
Milford better focus on containing Bella Swisshelm and Layla Hale as the pair were huge in West Clermont's win. Swisshelm shot 4-for-4 from downtown and dropped a double-double with 24 points and 13 rebounds, while Hale went 8-for-12 to rack up 22 points and four steals. That's the most points Hale has posted since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Kennedi Campbell, who had six points.
Milford's record now sits at 3-0. As for West Clermont, their record is now an identical 3-0.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Milford has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 27.7 boards per game. However, it's not like West Clermont struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 29.3 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Milford beat West Clermont 58-51 when the teams last played back in January. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Wolves have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
