Granville Christian Academy will be playing at home against Genoa Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Genoa Christian Academy took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Granville Christian Academy, who comes in off a win.

Granville Christian Academy can now show off four landslide victories after their most recent match on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Northside Christian with a sharp 38-16 win. The win was just what Granville Christian Academy needed coming off of a 34-14 defeat in their prior contest.

Granville Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Skyler Weekley, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds. Weekley has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. Ella Rhoads was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with eight rebounds and four steals.

Meanwhile, Genoa Christian Academy came up short against Tree of Life Christian on Tuesday and fell 35-28. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Genoa Christian Academy in their matchups with Tree of Life Christian: they've now lost seven in a row.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Leah Kinley, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. That was a full 39.3% of Genoa Christian Academy's points, marking the sixth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Bella Baer, who scored five points.

Granville Christian Academy pushed their record up to 6-6 with that win, which was their third straight at home. As for Genoa Christian Academy, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.

Granville Christian Academy might still be hurting after the 54-30 defeat they got from Genoa Christian Academy in their previous meeting back in January of 2023. Can Granville Christian Academy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
