Illini Bluffs put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Abingdon/Avon Tornadoes by a score of 2-0. The Tigers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tornadoes, too.

Emerson Eeten paced Illini Bluffs' offense, picking up 12 kills. Eeten got some help from Chloe Eeten and her 16 assists. Chloe also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Maddy Stephens, each putting up three.

Illini Bluffs' victory bumped their record up to 12-0. As for Abingdon/Avon, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-14.
