Softball Game Preview: Spring Valley Timberwolves vs. Tippecanoe Red Devils

The Spring Valley Timberwolves will square off against the Tippecanoe Red Devils at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Spring Valley will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

On Thursday, Spring Valley earned a 9-6 victory over St. Albans.

The team relied heavily on Laykin Adkins, who went 1-for-3 with three stolen bases and two runs. Those three stolen bases gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kate Spry, who earned two runs and two stolen bases.

While Tippecanoe didn't have the best season last year (they finished 2-13), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They walked away with an 8-3 win over Hilliard Davidson on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Red Devils.

Tippecanoe's victory bumped their record up to 11-2. As for Spring Valley, their win bumped their record up to 7-5.
