Rim of the World had won two straight road games and Tatum Ortiz did his part to make it three on Friday. The Fighting Scots managed a 28-24 win over the Chaffey Tigers with plenty of help from Ortiz, who rushed for 140 yards and three TDs. His rushing production has been exceptional for a while as that marked his ninth straight game with at least 140 rushing yards dating back to last season.

Although Chaffey took the loss, they still got scores from Justin Alcantara, Carlos Vasquez, and Andrew Rodriguez.

Rim of the World's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Chaffey, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 3-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Rim of the World will venture away from home to face off against Eisenhower at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Chaffey, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Rowland at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th.
