Great Falls and Horse Creek Academy squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Great Falls had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Stallions by a score of 3-2. The Red Devils' loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Great Falls' defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Emily Manning, who had eight kills, three digs, and two aces. Manning is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 14 or more in each of the last seven games she's played. Another player making a difference was Kenslee Powers, who had 23 digs and three aces.

Great Falls' loss dropped their record down to 15-7-1. As for Horse Creek Academy, their win bumped their record up to 15-0.

Great Falls does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Horse Creek Academy, they have already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Dixie on the 27th.
