Basketball Recap: Triangle Lake Takes a Loss

Triangle Lake and Nixyaawii Community squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Triangle Lake had to settle for second. They took a blow against the Nixyaawii Community Eagles, falling 117-38. While losing is never fun, the Lakers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 246th in Oregon, while the Eagles are ranked 32nd in Oregon).

This is the second loss in a row for Triangle Lake and nudges their season record down to 13-15. As for Nixyaawii Community, they are on a roll lately: they've won 19 of their last 20 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-3 record this season.

As of now, neither Triangle Lake nor Nixyaawii Community have any future games scheduled.
