Football Recap: Schulenburg Piles Up the Points Against Bloomington

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Ganado, Schulenburg was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They breezed past the Bloomington Bobcats/Lady Cats to the tune of 41-0. The Shorthorns haven't had any issues with the Bobcats/Lady Cats recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Schulenburg's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Bloomington, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-5.

Coming up, Schulenburg will head out on the road to challenge Danbury at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Shorthorns will be up against the Panthers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 33.5 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Bloomington, they will be playing at home against Ganado at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Bobcats/Lady Cats will need to watch out since the Indians have now posted at least 31 points in their last four matchups.
