Basketball Game Preview: Mount Pisgah Christian Academy vs. Fairview Christian Academy Falcons

After both having extra time off, Mount Pisgah Christian Academy and the Fairview Christian Academy Falcons will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Mount Pisgah Christian Academy lost 50-30 to First Baptist Academy last Friday. Mount Pisgah Christian Academy has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Jesalyn Howard, who posted 13 points along with seven steals and six boards. Howard is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Gracie Wilson, who dropped a double-double with ten points and 11 rebounds.

Meanwhile, Fairview Christian Academy gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener two weeks ago. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Knoxville Christian 65-22. With the Falcons ahead 40-5 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Mount Pisgah Christian Academy now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Fairview Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.

Everything came up roses for Mount Pisgah Christian Academy against Fairview Christian Academy in their previous meeting back in January, as the team secured a 65-22 victory. In that contest, Mount Pisgah Christian Academy amassed a halftime lead of 42-8, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Tuesday.
