Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, St. Augustine couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They came up short against the JSerra Catholic Lions on Thursday, falling 4-0. The matchup was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly the Saints struggled afterwards.

As for JSerra Catholic, they will look to defend their home pitch on Saturday against Loyola at 5:00 p.m. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (JSerra Catholic has won 12 straight at home, while Loyola won ten straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
