Basketball Recap: Atlantic Collegiate Academy Takes a Loss

Atlantic Collegiate Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Sunday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Wilson Tigers an easy 51-29 victory.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Wilson to victory, but perhaps none more so than Zoey Miller, who went 6 for 14 on her way to 15 points and five steals. Miller has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 13 times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Logan Murray, who went 6 of 12 on her way to 15 points in addition to six rebounds and five steals.

Atlantic Collegiate Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Wilson, the win keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Atlantic Collegiate Academy and Oceanside Collegiate Academy will compete for holiday cheer at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Oceanside Collegiate Academy will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Atlantic Collegiate Academy surely won't give up without a fight. As for Wilson, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lakewood at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
