Softball Game Preview: Enterprise Bulldogs vs. Sebastopol Bobcats

The Enterprise Bulldogs will head out on the road to face off against the Sebastopol Bobcats at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Things were looking good for Enterprise after they put the first points on the board on Friday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They took a 12-9 hit to the loss column at the hands of Newton County. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Cougars recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Saylee Perry made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. What's more, she also posted three hits, the most she's had since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was Anna Herrington, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-4.

Meanwhile, Sebastopol owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Friday. They came out on top against Enterprise by a score of 4-0.

Sebastopol's win was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs over those games. As for Enterprise, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Enterprise came up short against Sebastopol in their previous matchup on Friday, falling 4-0. Can Enterprise avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
