Baseball Recap: Dodd City Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Dodd City can now relate to. They took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bryson Cowboys on Wednesday.

Dodd City saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caysen Lappin, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That triple was Lappin's first of the season.

Dodd City's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-17. As for Bryson, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-4.

As of now, neither Dodd City nor the Cowboys have any future games scheduled.
