Recap: Pocomoke Warriors vs. Washington Jaguars
Even though the Washington Jaguars scored an imposing 55 points on Thursday, the Pocomoke Warriors still came out on top. Pocomoke secured a 59-55 W over Washington. That's another feather in the cap for Pocomoke, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Pocomoke's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Zymiere Walker led the charge by scoring eight points along with seven rebounds. Jamir Roberts was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with five steals.
Pocomoke is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season. As for Washington, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 1-8.
Pocomoke the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Crisfield at 6:00 p.m. on January 23rd. As for Washington, they will head out on the road to face off against Decatur at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
